Russian Club Championships in classical chess, rapid chess, and blitz among men, women, juniors, and seniors take place on April 30 – May 11 in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi. 

Classical chess time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with 30 seconds increment after each move. Draw offers are forbidden until the move 40. 

Playing days: May 1-7.

Premier League clubs consist of eight players (including two reserves). Four best clubs of men's event and three best clubs of the women's event qualify for the European Club Cup. 

The Premier League clubs: Bronze Horseman (St. Petersburg), Russian defending champions Malachite (Yekaterinburg), SHSM (Moscow), Siberia (Novosibirsk), Ladya (Kazan), University (Belorechensk), Yamal (Yamal), and Lada (Samara Region).

Prize fund of the Premier League is 1,000,000 roubles, prize fund of the Higher League is 500,000 roubles. The winner of the Higher League qualifies for the Premier League. 

Prize fund of the women's championship is 700,000 roubles, senior championship – 200,000 roubles, both junior championships – 150,000 roubles.
