Evgeny Sveshnikov and Natalia Ruchieva won the Russian Serniors
The championships finished in Lesnoy Gorodok, Moscow region.

The Russian Serniors Championships finished in the Moscow Region. Grandmaster Evgeny Sveshnikov won the men's event with 7/9. IM Vladimir Zhelnin took the silver, outscoring GM Yury Balashov and IM Evgeny Kalegin on tie-break.
WGM Natalia Ruchieva won the women's event with 7 points. WIM Elena Sazonova also collected 7 points, but her tie-break was inferior. WGM Valentina Kozlovskaya took the bronze with 6.5 points.
