Manual and Workbook Chess School by V. Barsky Gains Diploma of Volga Wave
Interregional festival and fair took place in Saratov.
The 3rd interregional book festival and fair Volga Wave-2017 finished in Saratov. More than 90 publishing houses of Russia and neighboring countries, including VAKO Publishing House which specializes in issuing schoolbooks for children, took part in the event. For the first time, VAKO presented V. Barsky’s manual and workbook Chess School: First Year of Studies among novelties and popular books. Any visitor of the festival had a possibility to play a game of chess at the Publishing House’s stand and win a prize. Following the results of the Contest, which was held as part of the festival Volga Wave-2017, the books of VAKO Publishing House (V. Barsky’s manual and workbook Chess School) were rewarded with the first degree diploma Best Publication-2017 in nomination Best Book for Children and the Youth.
