Russian Players Are Among Leaders of World Junior Championships

Round 2 was played in New Delhi.


The second round of the World Junior Championships was played in the capital of India on October 16.

Eight players, including the Russians Semen Khanin and Sergey Drygalov, are leading the open event with a perfect score. Sergei Lobanov and Volodar Murzin are half a point behind, Stefan Pogosyan has got 1 point. 

In the girls' tournament, there are 11 leaders with Dinara Dordzhieva from Russia among them. Elizaveta Solozhenkina, Anastasiya Protopopova, Ekaterina Diakonova, and Polina Shuvalova are trailing be half a point, while Margarita Potapova has scored 1 point.
