Women's World Championship takes place in Tehran, Iran, on February 10 - March 3. The format is a knock-out with 64 players.
The first five rounds consist of two-game matches with FIDE time control. In case of a tie, the two-game tie-breaks with first rapid (25'+10'') and then blitz (10'+10'' and 5'+3'') time control are played. If the match is still drawn, the Armageddon game ultimately breaks the tie - White had 5 minutes against Black's 4 (3 seconds per move are added after the move 61), but a draw counts as a victory for Black. The final match consists of four games with FIDE time control.
Playing days: February 11-13, February 14-16, February 17-19, February 20-22 (Quarterfinals), February 23-25 (Semifinals), February 27 - March 3 (Final match). February 26 is a rest day.
All games start at 3:30 pm Moscow time.
