The penultimate 6th round of the Sparkassen Chess-Meeting took place in Dortmund on July 21st. Anish Giri defeated Vladimir Kramnik, Georg Meier outplayed Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu, while the games Duda - Nepomniachtchi and Wojtaszek - Kovalev were drawn.
