Central Chess Club in Moscow Hosts Renault Russia Gala Night

Russian champions Peter Svidler and Aleksandra Goryachkina receive car keys.

On February 9, a gala night of the Renault Russia company took place in the Central Chess Club in Moscow. The first part of the soiree was dedicated to a smart session called "New Mobility", which was carried out by Renault Russia together with Forbes Life. The speakers and experts were discussing such modern trends as megapolization, development of "cities of the future", autonomous transport and electric vehicles, and influence of these trends on the global economy, human migration, and formation of elites.    

Then the awarding ceremony of the 2017 Superfinal winners was held. The Russian Chess Federation and the Renault Russia company summed up their mutual cooperation of the recent years as well. 

The ambassador of France to Russia Her Excellency Sylvie Bermann, President of the Russian Chess Federation Andrey Filatov, Director General of the Renault Russia company Andrey Pankov, Executive Director of the Russian Chess Federation Mark Glukhovsky, and Deputy Director General of the Renault Russia company Tatiana Redko made speeches at the ceremony.  

The Russian champions Peter Svidler and Aleksandra Goryachkina were presented with the keys to Renault Kaptur cars. Andrey Filatov gave a tour around the RCF Chess Museum to Her Excellency Sylvie Bermann and other guests.
