The Crimea Federal District championships finished in Simferopol

Alexander Shemiakin and Tatiana Vasilevich became champions.

The championships of the Crimea Federal District ended in Simferopol.

The men's tournament was attended by 65 players from 11 regions of the peninsular. IM Alexander Shemiakin from Simferopol became a champion, collecting 7 points out of 9. Seven players were half a point behind, the tie-breaker gave Evgeny Rudenko (Feodosia) the second place, and national master Alexander Tryapishko (Simferopol) was awarded the third place.

22 players from 6 regions of the peninsular competed for the women's title. Grandmaster Tatiana Vasilevich from Evpatoria won the championship, playing her first tournament in two years after becoming a mother. She scored 6.5 out of 7. Victoria Mukhtarova (Simferopol) finished second with 5.5, the bronze was awarded to Elena Panakhova (Yalta).
