FIDE World Women's Championship: Team CFR Wins Pool A in Advance
Round 4 is completed in Sitges.

Rounds 3-4 of the FIDE World Women's Team Championship were played in Sitges, Spain.
Team CFR won Pool A with one round to go. In the third round, the Russians defeated Azerbaijan 3.5-0.5 and then beat India 3:1.
Aleksandra Goryachkina, member of Team CFR, celebrates her birthday on the 28th of September. Congratulations!
Standings after Round 4:
1. CFR - 8 match points (14 board points)
2. Armenia - 5 (9.5)
3. India - 5 (8)
4. France - 2 (7)
5. Azerbaijan - 2 (5)
6. Spain - 2 (4,5).
The Russians will face Armenia in Round 5.
