Dear veterans, I would like to congratulate you on the Victory Day!
You are our pride and example to follow; you gave us an opportunity to live in the modern wonderful world! We bow to your great deed, moral courage, and heroism. You were fighting to the end in the hardest moment when the enemy approached the gate of the Russian capital.
Our chess veterans deserve special words of gratitude. Not only were they defending their Motherland, but also made the whole world pronounce with admiration and respect: "The Soviet chess school" after the World War II!
I wish you robust health, happiness, and more successes on the chess board!
