Ian Nepomniachtchi Defeats Levon Aronian at WR Chess Masters

The seventh round of the WR Chess Masters super tournament is played in Düsseldorf. Ian Nepomniachtchi bested Levon Aronian as Blackа: the Russian won a piece in the middlegame and convincingly converted his material edge, in spite of his opponent's endeavours to sharpen the play. Andrey Eseipenko lost to Dommaraju Gukesh with the white pieces. The games Keymer - Giri, Abdusattorov - Duda, and Praggnanandhaa - So were drawn.
