Ivan Rozum Takes Down Russian Cup Stage
The event took place in Vladivostok.
The Primorsky Debut – a stage of the Russian Men's Cup ended in Vladivostok. Prior to the final round, five grandmasters had 6 points and competed for the main prize, closely followed by four more players with 5.5 Grandmaster Ivan Rozum (Vologda) won confidently against Valery Mironov and took clear first place with 7 points, as all of his competitors drew their games.
Grigory Oparin (Moscow) was awarded second place, Pavel Smirnov (Mezhdurechensk) came out third.
