Jan-Krzysztof Duda Becomes Second Finalist of FIDE Grand Prix Leg in Hamburg

Daniil Dubov lost on tiebreak.


The tiebreak of the semifinal match Daniil Dubov vs. Jan-Krzysztof Duda was played at the FIDE Grand Prix leg organized by World Chess in Hamburg. 

The Russian player won the first rapid game but the Polish grandmaster managed to equalize the score in the second. The first "10+10" game ended in a draw, while Duda celebrated victory in the second encounter having won the match 3.5-2.5. 



November 14 is the tournament's free day. The first game of the final match between Alexander Grischuk and Jan-Krzysztof Duda will be played on November 15.
