Mikhail Vitalyevich Kryukov Celebrates His Birthday

The international arbiter and chess organizer turns 60.

Mikhail Vitalyevich Kryukov, a renowned international arbiter, celebrates his 60th birthday on April 27. For many years he headed the chess federation of Moscow Region, organized dozens of tournaments with IM and GM norms, which helped many well known players, including Evgeny Tomashevsky, Denis Khismatullin, Tatiana and Nadezhda Kosintseva, to mature. Mr. Kryukov organized Russian Cup finals in his hometown Serpukhov. As an arbiter, he worked at numerous big events, and for many years he was a head of RCF Arbiter's Committee.
