In the sixth round of the 2019 Croatia Grand Chess Tour, Ding Liren defeated Ian Nepomniachtchi, Magnus Carlsen bested Hikaru Nakamura, Wesley So beat Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Fabiano Caruana outplayed Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Sergey Karjakin lost to Levon Aronian, while the game Giri - Anand ended in a draw.
