Magnus Carlsen Wins Rapid at Tata Steel Chess India
Blitz is ahead.
Rounds 7-9 of the rapid part of the 2019 Tata Steel Chess India, the seventh stage of the Grand Chess Tour, were played in Kolkata on November 24.
Magnus Carlsen showed the best result having scored 15 points (there are 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw in rapid). Hikaru Nakamura is 4 points behind.

1. Magnus Carlsen - 15 points
2. Hikaru Nakamura - 11
3-5. Anish Giri, Levon Aronian, Wesley So - 9
6-8. Ding Liren, Viswanathan Anand, Harikrishna Pentala - 8
9. Ian Nepomniachtchi - 7
10. Santosh Vidit - 6.
The rapid part will be followed by the 18-round blitz tournament on November 25-26.
