Mednyi Vsadnik Wins Russian Team Championship with One Round to Go
CFM leads the women's tournament.
The penultimate eighth round of the Russian Team Championships among men and women was played in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina in Sochi on November 27.
Results of the open tournament:
Mednyi Vsadnik - M. Botvinnik school 4-2, Molodezhka - Ladya 3.5-2.5, Moscow region - CFM 1-5, Achimgaz YNAO - Cimmeria 4.5-1.5, Olympic reserve school - CPRF 2.5-3.5.
Having won all the matches, Mednyi Vsadnik secured the victory in the tournament with 16 match points scored. Our congratulations!
Molodezhka is on the second place with 13 points, while CFM has got 12 points.
