Natalija Pogonina and Valentina Gunina Stay with Leaders at Women's Grand Swiss

The third round games of the FIDE Chess.com Grand Swiss and Women's Grand Swiss were played in Riga on the 29th of October. 

Having defeated Alexandr Predke (Russia), Alireza Firouzja (France) emerged as the sole leader of the open event with 3 points scored. Yu Yangyi (China), Pavel Ponkratov, Evgeniy Najer (both from Russia), Robert Hovhannisyan (Armenia), Nihal Sarin (India), and Ivan Saric (Croatia) are trailing by half a point.

Round 4 pairings  

There are nine leaders in the women's section: Natalija Pogonina, Valentina Gunina (both from Russia), Zhu Jiner, Lei Tingjie (both from China), Lela Javakhishvili, Nana Dzagnidze, Nino Batsiashvili (all from Georgia), Elisabeth Paehtz (Germany), and Dronavalli Harika (India) have got 2.5 points each.
