Polina Shuvalova Triumphs at World Girls' U18 Championship

The World Youth Championships among boys and girls under 14, 16, and 18 years old finished in Greece on October 30.

U18:

Open: 1. Viktor Gazik (Slovakia) - 8.5/11, 2. Igor Janik, 3. Szymon Gumularz (both from Poland) - 8;

Girls: 1. Polina Shuvalova - 10, 2. Alexandra Obolentseva (both from Russia), 3. Teodora Injac (Serbia) - 8;

Open: 1. Shant Sargsyan (Armenia) - 9, 2. Viktor Matviishen (Ukraine) - 8.5, 3. Nikoloz Petriashvili (Georgia) - 8;

Girls: 1. Ning Kaiyu - 9, 2. Song Yuxin (both from China), 3. Deshmukh Divya (India) - 8.5.
