The Chessable Masters, one of the Magnus Carlsen Chess Tour's events, resumed on Chess24.com after a free day. The first quarterfinal matches were played on June 25. Both of them finished in three games instead of four.

Magnus Carlsen beat Fabiano Caruana in the first two games and made a draw from the position of strength in the third one.

Ian Nepomniachtchi defeated Vladislav Artemiev in the first (a disconnection saw Vladislav Artemiev run out of time and lose) and third games, while the second one ended in a draw.

The rivals will play one more match on June 27. If the score is equal, the decisive encounter will be held on June 29.

Ding Liren against Hikaru Nakamura and Alexander Grischuk against Anish Giri will start their quarterfinals on June 26.
