Regional Competitions of Belaya Ladya Start in Novosibirsk
A number of honored guests visited the event.
The RATM Holding supported the first qualification event to Belaya Ladya finals – the school team championship of Central Federal District. The tournament took place on September 9-10 at the Lyceum #200, which opened the first specialized chess class in the city on the starting day of the championship.
20 teams formed of three school boys and one girl born on 2003 or earlier registered for the event.
Among the honored guests of the championship were Alexander Zhukov, Deputy Chairman of Russian Duma, Anatoly Lokot, Mayor of Novosibirsk, and Irina Bajbarovich, RATM Holding Vice-President.
The Lyceum of Economics took first place with 6 points, Gymnasium #1 finished second with 5 points, Gymnasium #4 finished third with 5 points. The winners advanced to the Belaya Ladya final, which will take place in July 2017 in Sochi.
