In the fourth round of the 2019 Croatia Grand Chess Tour, the games Ding Liren - Nakamura, Nepomniachtchi - Karjakin, Carlsen - Mamedyarov ("An epic struggle", according to the world champion), Aronian - Caruana, So - Anand, and Vachier-Lagrave - Giri were drawn.
