Round 4 of Magnus Carlsen Invitational Completed on Chess24.com

Hikaru Nakamura is on the second place again.


The fourth round of the Magnus Carlsen Invitational finished on Chess24.com on April 25. 

Hikaru Nakamura scored first in his match versus Ian Nepomniachtchi. The Russian grandmaster didn't manage to win back in the following games, and the encounter finished with the victory of the American player.

Ding Liren and Anish Giri started with a draw and then exchanged blows. The fourth game was drawn and the match outcome was decided in the Armageddon. The "sudden death" game also finished peacefully, and Ding Liren, who had the black pieces, was declared the winner.
