Russia vs. China Match Date Announced
The traditional match will take place on June 10-16 in Moscow.
This year a match between Russian and Chinese national teams will take place in the Central House of Chessplayer in Moscow. Each team will consist of five players and a coach. There will be two Scheveningen matches between men's and women's team of Russia and China.
Russia brings the following teams:
Men – Ian Nepomniachtchi, Dmitry Jakovenko, Nikita Vitiugov, Dmitry Andreikin, Maxim Matlakov, coach – Alexander Motylev;
Women – Valentina Gunina, Natalia Pogonina, Anastasia Bodnaruk, Aleksandra Goryachkina, Kateryna Lagno, coach – Sergey Rublevsky.
The opening ceremony takes place on June 10 at 7 pm.
The games will be played on June 11-15, starting at 3 pm.
The award and closing ceremony will be carried out after the end of the last game on June 15.
