Russia Increases The Lead
Coming into the final round, Russia is ahead of China by 3 points.
The 4th round of the Russia-China friendly match was played on June 14 in the Central Chess House in Moscow.
In the men's match, Nepomniachtchi defeated Wen Yang, Matlakov lost to Yu Yangyi, games Andreikin-Zhou Jianchao, Jakovenko-Wang Yue, and Lu Shanglei-Dubov were drawn.
In the women's match, Gunina defeated Ding Yixin, and the games Shen Yang-Lagno, Lei Tintsze-Goryachkina, Tan Zhongyi-Pogonina, and Bodnaruk-Guo Qi ended peacefully.
Therefore, after four rounds the score is 21.5-18.5 in Russia's favor.
