Russian Junior Championships Begin in Moscow

The drawing of lots took place in the Central Chess Club.


The Russian Junior Championships among boys and girls under 21 years old will be held from the 7th of December (arrival) till the 17th of December (departure) in the Central Chess Club in Moscow. 

The technical meeting and the drawing of lots took place on December 7. The participants got the following starting numbers:

Boys:

1. Stefan Pogosyan, 2. Artur Gaifullin, 3. Sergei Lobanov, 4. Tagir Salemgareev, 5. Boris Ofitserian, 6. Volodar Murzin, 7. Alexandr Triapishko, 8. Arseniy Nesterov, 9. Timofey Smirnov, 10. Rudik Makarian 

Girls:

1. Aleksandra Dimitrova, 2. Zarina Shafigullina, 3. Alexandra Obolentseva, 4. Anastasia Nazarova, 5. Alena Korchagina, 6. Anna Afonasieva, 7. Anna Kochukova, 8. Ekaterina Borisova, 9. Mariya Nosacheva, 10. Anastasiya Protopopova. 

The tournaments are 9-round all-play-all separate events. Time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per each move starting from the first. 

The match days are December 8-16. All rounds start at 2 PM (Moscow time). 

All participants (players, accompanying persons, coaches, arbiters, the OC members and others) are to comply with the Regulations on the inflectional safety.

Total prize fund is 300,000 rubles.
