Russian Women's Team Beats Kazakhstan 3.5-0.5
Our men defeated Egypt 3-1.
In the 5th round of the Olympiad, Russia defeated Egypt in the Open section (wins by Sergey Karjakin and Ian Nepomniachtchi, draws by Vladimir Kramnik and Alexander Grischuk).
Other results in the leading group: Ukraine-China 2.5-1.5, Netherlands-Belarus 2.5-1.5, Serbia-USA 1-3, Azerbaijan-India 1-3.
After five rounds, Netherlands, Ukraine, and India have 10 team points. USA, Georgia, and Czech Republic have 9 points, Russia has 8 points.
In the 6th round Russia plays Germany. The key matches of the round are India-Netherlands, USA-Ukraine, and Czech Republic-Georgia.
