SergArk Wins Moscow Club Championship
The event took place at the RSSU.
The final round of the Moscow Club Championship was played at the Russian State Social University on November 1. The title was contested by 13 clubs.
The SergArk club scored 15 match points (35.5 board points). The winners are grandmasters Vladimir Belous, Yury Eliseev, Sergey Arkhipov, international masters Ilya Ilyushonok, Shamil Arslanov, FM Sergey Savitsky, Maya Tereshechkina, and Sergey Krivenko.
Boavista took the second place with 15 match points and 33.5 board points. The team consists of grandmasters Valentina Gunina and Dmitry Kryakvin, international masters Sergey Matsenko, Mikhail Demidov, Andrey Borisenko, Irina Vasilevich, Alina Bivol, Dina Drozdova, FM Arman Geivondian, Mikhail Kuznetsov, Victor Kurochkin, and Evgeny Okun.
Avtomatika club won the bronze with 12 match points. The club is led by grandmaster Oleg Nikolenko and has many famous Moscow blitz players among its members, such as international masters Evgeny Dragomaretsky and Pavel Dvalishvili.
