Traditional Super Tournament Starts in Dortmund
Russia is represented by Vladimir Kramnik and Ian Nepomniachtchi.

A traditional super tournament Sparkassen Chess-Meeting will be held in Dortmund from 14th till 22nd July.
Vladimir Kramnik (Russia, 2792), Anish Giri (Netherlands, 2782), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia, 2757), Jan-Krzysztof Duda (Poland, 2737), Radoslaw Wojtaszek (Poland, 2733), Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu (Germany, 2672), Vladislav Kovalev (Belarus, 2655), and Georg Meier (Germany, 2628) will play 7 rounds according to the round-robin system.
The lots have already been drawn. Round 1 pairings:
Wojtaszek - Meier, Kramnik - Nisipeanu, Duda - Kovalev and Nepomniachtchi - Giri.
The match days: July 14, 15, 17, 18, and 20-22. Free days: July 16 and 19.
The games start at 4 p.m., while the last round begins at 2 p.m. (Moscow time).
