Viswanathan Anand Joins Shakhriyar Mamedyarov After 6 Rounds of Tal Memorial

4-6 rounds of the rapid tournament of Tal Memorial were played in the Museum of the Russian Impressionism in Moscow on March 3.
Viswanathan Anand made draws with Peter Svidler and Vladimir Kramnil and defeated Hikaru Nakamura to catch up with Shakhriyar Mamedyarov. The leaders have scored 4 points each.
Alexander Grischuk and Vladimir Kramnik are trailing by half a point.
Standings after 6 rounds:
1-2. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Viswanathan Anand - 4
3-4. Alexander Grischuk, Vladimir Kramnik - 3.5
5-7. Hikaru Nakamura, Sergey Karjakin, Boris Gelfand - 3
8-10. Ian Nepomniachtchi, Peter Svidler, Daniil Dubov - 2.
The final three rounds of the rapid competition will be played on Sunday, March 4.
