Zheleznogorsk Hosted the North Federal Okrug Seniors Championship
Yury Remizov became a champion.
The North Federal Okrug Seniors Championship finished in Zheleznogorsk. Yury Remizov (Zabaikalsky Krai) won the event with 7.5/9. FM Vladimir Sambursky from Khakasia finished second with 7.5 points and an inferior tie-break score. IM Dmitry Shmakov (Krasnoyarsk Krai) finished third with 7 points.
WIM Tamara Sorokina won the women's section. Galina Kuteneva (both from Kemerovo region) was second, Nina Grevtsova (Krasnoyarsk Krai) was third.
An excursion to the Center of Space Communication was organized on a free day.
