Ascension Tournament for Orphanages Opens in Loo
RCF President Andrey Filatov sent the participants his regards.
In the AquaLoo health camp, the All-Russian Championship for Orphanages and Boarding Schools, was officially opened on March 7. The event will take place on March 7-17. It is organized by Russian Chess Federation together with Northern Crown foundation for social, charitable, and cultural projects. The organizers also prepared a number of solid side events, including simuls of European Champion grandmaster Ernesto Inarkiev, sports competitions, quizes and field trips. There will also be seminars for teaching chess at schools.
During the opening ceremony, the Deputy Executive Director of RCF Alexander Tkachiev read out the address of the RCF President Andrey Filatov.
The championship takes place for the second time.
