Second Round of Russian Cup Finals Begins in Khanty-Mansiysk
Men make draws, women take no prisoners.
The first games of the quarterfinals of the Russian Cup final among men in the matches N. Afanasiev - D. Kokarev, K. Alekseenko - A. Sarana, D. Bocharov - D. Paravyan, and A. Timofeev - A. Sorokin were drawn.
In the women's event, Polina Shuvalova defeated Daria Charochkina, while Olga Girya lost to Marina Guseva.
The return games of the second rounds and tie-breaks, if needed, will be played in Khanty-Mansiysk on December 8.
