Aleksey Grebnev Wins Asian Junior Championship

The Asian Junior Championships (Open and Girls) finished in Jamshedpur, India. The Open event saw 58 players, while 52 contenders participated in the Girls' section. 

The Russian IM Aleksey Grebnev became the Indian Junior Champion, having scored 7 points out of 9. He edged out S. Aswath. Krishna Rohith (both from India) won bronze with 6.5 points.

The Girls' tournament was won by G. Tejaswini - 7.5 points. Mukherjee Bristy finished in second place with 7 points scored. Akshaya Mounika Bommini (all from India) is third with 6.5 points. The Russian Anastasia Ivanova took 14th place with 5.5 points.
