Botvinnik Junior Sports School-1 Wins Russian Youth Team Championship

The tournament finished in Belgorod.

Before the last round of the Russian Youth Team Championship there had been three leaders: Junior Sports School №2 From Kurgan, Botvinnik Junior Sports School-1 (23.5 points both), and Youth of Moscow-1 (23 points).

In round 9, the chess players from Kurgan were facing the team from the Crimea. Although they managed to outplay the players from Simferopol 2.5-1.5, it wasn't enough to win gold medals. Botvinnik Junior Sports School-1 crashed the team of the Chelyabinsk Oblast Chess Federation 4-0. Youth of Moscow-1 also won the match against Orienta-1 (Moscow) 4-0. 

The team Botvinnik Junior Sports School-1 from Moscow (Alexandra Obolentseva, Aram Yeritsyan, Boris Navrodskiy, Elizaveta Martynyuk, coach - Vladimir Vulfson) won the Russian Youth Team Championship with 27.5 points. 

Youth of Moscow-1 won silver medals (27 points). Junior Sports School №2 From Kurgan is third with 26 points.
