Hikaru Nakamura Wins Paris Grand Chess Tour

The second leg of the Grand Chess Tour finished in Paris. Hikaru Nakamura won both the blitz tournament and the whole event having scored 23 points. Sergey Karjakin is second in the overall standings with 21.5 points. Wesley So is half a point behind. 



Final standings (rapid and blitz):

1. Hikaru Nakamura - 23, 2. Sergey Karjakin - 21.5, 3. Wesley So - 21, 4. Levon Aronian - 20, 5. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave - 19.5, 6. Viswanathan Anand - 17, 7. Alexander Grischuk - 16, 8. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov - 15.5, 9. Fabiano Caruana - 13.5, 10. Vladimir Kramnik - 13. 

 

The next stage of the Grand Chess Tour will be held in Saint Louis, on August 10-15.
