Polina Shuvalova Maintains Leadership in New Delhi
Round 9 of World Junior Championships finished.
The ninth round of the World Junior Championships was played in New Delhi on October 23.
Evgeny Shtembuliak (Ukraine) has retaken the sole lead in the open section with 7.5 points. Miguel Santos (Spain) is trailing by half a point. The Russian Volodar Murzin is 1.5 points behind the leader, Sergey Drygalov has got 5.5 points, while Semen Khanin, Stefan Pogosyan, and Sergei Lobanov have scored 5 points.
In the girls' tournament, Polina Shuvalova (Russia) is leading the race with 8 points. Mobina Alinasab (Iran) is trailing by half a point. The Russian Dinara Dordzhieva has scored 6.5 points. Elizaveta Solozhenkina has got 6 points, Ekaterina Diakonova and Anastasiya Protopopova 5.5 points, and Margarita Potapova 5 points.
