Alexander Morozevich Shares Third Place After Round 8 in Biel
Hou Yifan and Pentala Harikrishna lead.

In the penultimate round 8 of the Grandmasters Tournament of the 50th Biel International Chess Festival Alexander Morozevich outplayed Noël Studer, but still is not sharing the 1st place because Hou Yifan won against Rafael Vaganian, while Pentala Harikrishna defeated Russian Ponomariov.The games Bacrot - Navara and Georgiadis - Leko were drawn.

1-2. Hou Yifan, Harikrishna - 5.5
3-5. Morozevich, Bacrot, Georgiadis - 5
6-7. Leko, Ponomariov - 4
8. Navara - 3
9. Vaganian - 2
10. Studer - 1.
