Dear Mr. Simanovsky,

Please accept my congratulations on your birthday! Your contribution to the chess movement can hardly be overestimated. Chess is actively developing in Sverdlovsk Oblast, both on the amateur and professional levels. Your region sees many tournaments; there are a lot of young stars, chess clubs and schools are working at a high level.

The Sima Land company supports chess players, fields strong teams for the Russian championships, and became the general sponsor of the FIDE Candidates Tournament. You managed to organise the first half of the event at a very professional level. Depending on the circumstances that unfold, the tournament will resume and attract a high public interest as the first OTB chess competition after the lockout.

I want to say special thanks for your help to our young promising players, Aleksandra Goryachkina and Kirill Alekseenko!
