Baira Kovanova Wins Russian Women’s Cup
Jakovenko and Kokarev to play a final match of the open event.
The final of the Russian Women’s Cup finished in Khanty-Mansiysk. Baira Kovanova defeated Elena Tomilova 1.5-0.5 to win the tournament. Dmitry Jakovenko won two games in his match against Evgeny Shaposhnikov, while Dmitry Kokarev eliminated Dmitry Gordievsky 1.5-0.5.
Dmitry Jakovenko will play the first game of the final match with white pieces.
