Bronze Horseman Keeps Win Streak in Sochi

SShOR from Saint Petersburg heads women's tournament.


The sixth round of the Russian Team Championships was played in Sochi on May 7. The following results happened in the Premier League:

SShOR (Saint Petersburg) - Sima-Land (Sverdlovsk region) 1-5, Bronze Horseman (Saint Petersburg) - Guards of Law and Order (Saint Petersburg) 3.5-2.5, Molodezhka (Tyumen region) - Siberia (Novosibirsk region) 4.5-1.5, Men's Movement (Saint Petersburg) - Ladya (Tatarstan) 2-4, ShSM Legacy Square Capital (Moscow) - Moscow region 4.5-1.5.

Standings: 1. Bronze Horseman - 12 match points (24.5 board points), 2. Sima-Land - 10 (21.5), 3. Molodezhka - 10 (20), 4. ShSM Legacy Square Capital - 9 (22), 5. Guards of Law and Order - 7 (22.5), 6. Ladya - 5 (17), 7. Siberia - 3 (15), 8. Moscow region - 2 (13), 9. SShOR 0 2(11), 10. Men's Movement - 0 (13.5). 

There will be exciting leaders' matches in Round 7: Sima-Land - Bronze Horseman and Guards of Law and Order - Molodezhka. 

SShOR (Saint Petersburg) keeps leading the race in the women's tournament having defeated Southern Ural 3.5-0.5. The leaders have scored 11 match points (17 board points). Ugra has got 10 points (17), while Moscow region is on the third place with 8 points (14).

Southern Ural (Chelyabinsk region) leads the senior event with 11 match points (23.5 board points). ShSM Legacy Square Capital (Moscow) is 2 points behind (18,5). 

Yamal (Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district) headed by Aleksandra Goryachkina maintains leadership in the Higher League with 11 points (16.5). Our Crimea and KPRF are trailing by 2 match points.

The junior tournament is headed by the chess players from Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region - 10 match points (16 board points).
