Collection of Tests by Mark Dvoretsky is a last book of the famous coach Mark Izrailevich Dvoretsky (1947-2016), on which he worked until last. This is essentially a collection of tests on various subjects: exercising tactical vision and calculation technique, search for candidate moves, taking optimal positional decision, etc. There are opening, middlegame, and endgame tests, with positions taken both from tournament practice and studies. “Mark Izrailevich wanted to write a book that will not only teach chess wisdom but also give chess enthusiasts pure pleasure. He carefully selected the most “tasteful” examples.
