Decisive Battles Begin at Russian Cup Finals in Khanty-Mansiysk
Marina Guseva defeats Polina Shuvalova in first game of women's final.
The first games of the semi-final matches of the Russian Cup among men were played in Khanty-Mansiysk on December 9. David Paravyan outplayed Aleksey Sorokin, while the game Kokarev - Alekseenko ended in a draw.
In the women's event, Polina Shuvalova lost to Marina Guseva in the first final game.
The return games and tie-breaks, if needed, are to be played on December 10.
