Ernesto Inarkiev Becomes Head of Chess Federation of Ingushetia

Our congratulations!

The congress of chess players of the Republic of Ingushetia, which gathered on January 7, elected grandmaster Ernesto Inarkiev a Head of Chess Federation of Ingushetia.

Ernesto Inarkiev set up the following goals for the next two years:

1. Continue developing Chess at Schools project. Yunus-Bek Evkurov, Head of Ingushetia, signed a decree to introduce chess lessons at schools, and RCF together with the Timchenko Foundation also contribute significantly to the cause, however, there is still a lot of work to be done.

2. Creating a calendar of local tournaments aiming at higher sporting goals. The calendar must give an opportunity to progress, especially for young players.

“There are the major projects, and successful work in each area will contribute to everything else”, said Inarkiev.

Timur Gadaborshev, and Amirkhan Gadaborshev became Vice-Presidents. Zaurbek Malsagov became a Honorary President.

Savarbek Gaparkhoev, Israil Barakhoev, Ali Osmiev, and Murad Daurbekov formed the Executive Board.

Suleiman Khamkhoev, Musa Pliev, and Osman Balaev formed the Board of Internal Auditors.

Russian Chess Federation congratulates Ernesto Inarkiev and wishes him success with his new job!
