Friendly Match Sveshnikov vs. Skvortsov Finishes in Riga
Grandmaster wins 3-1.
A friendly rapid match between the World senior champion, grandmaster Evgeny Sveshnikov and a patron of chess, organizer of Zurich Chess Challenge and Nutcracker tournaments Oleg Skvortsov finished at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga. The rivals played four games with the following time control: Sveshnikov had 30 minutes, while Skvortsov got 40 minutes with 10 seconds increment per move for each player.
On the third day of the competition, Evgeny Sveshnikov won the 3rd game, while the 4th one ended in a draw. The total score is 3-1 in favour of the grandmaster.
