Georgy Nagibin Carries Out Simul in Orphanage Near Bryansk
The event was organized as a part of RCF's charitable project.
A chess fest that was a part of “Chess to Orphanages” charitable project of RCF took place in an orphanage in Bryansk Region. The Head of RCF Charitable Projects Georgy Nagibin and the project's sponsors Igor Ryaboshapka and Stanislav Zhiba met children who live in the Regional Orphanage named after Hero of Russia A. A. Titov. The event started with a concert dedicated to the New Year celebration. Then Georgy Nagibin, holder of the IM title, carried out a simultaneous display. Afterwards he admitted that the level of play of his opponents has grown considerable in the last two years, since their first meeting at the beginning of the project.
The event was concluded by presenting the children gifts from RCF.
