Hou Yifan Wins GM Tournament in Biel
Bacrot is second, Harikrishna is third

In the last round 9 of the Grandmasters Tournament of the 50th Biel International Chess Festival a former Women’s World Champion Hou Yifan defeated Nico Georgiadis to win the event with 6.5 points out of 9. Etienne Bacrot took the second place with 6 points having outplayed the bronze medalist Pentala Harikrishna (5.5 points).
In other games Peter Leko won against Alexander Morozevich, David Navara bested Rafael Vaganian, while Noël Studer lost to Ruslan Ponamariov.
