Humpy Honeru Wins Cairns Cup

In the final ninth round of the Cairns Cup in Saint Louis, Alexandra Kosteniuk lost to Ju Wenjun, Irina Krush defeated Nana Dzagnidze, while the games Harika - Koneru, Yip - M. Muzychuk, and Gunina - Lagno were drawn.
Having scored 6 points out of 9, Humpy Koneru (India) became the winner of the super tournament. The reigning women's world champion Ju Wenjun (China) is half a point behind. Alexandra Kosteniuk (Russia) and Mariya Muzychuk (Ukraine) shared 3-4 places with 5 points.
