Igor Chernogolov Acted in a Hollywood Film Extortion
President of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Chess Federation also produced the movie.
On May 12, the film Extortion was presented in Hollywood. The head of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Chess Federation and the President of Penetron Russia Group of Companies Igor Chernogolov became an executive producer of the movie. The film is not about chess. A dynamic and intense thriller tells about kidnapping of a traveller’s family in the Caribbean Sea.
The film was shot in the USA and Puerto Rico. The premiere took place in Japan on March 5, in the USA the film will be released on May 16.
We recall that it’s not the first Igor Chernogolov’s appearance as a producer in cinema. His debut movie was Garbage.
In this new movie Chernogolov appeared in a cameo role as well as his elder daughter Maya. According to Chernogolov, "the scene lasts only a couple of minutes, but it took eight hours to film it". His character saves the protagonist on the yacht called Penetron.
