Ju Wenjun Strengthens Lead in Women's World Championship Match

On May 9, the fifth game of the Women's World Championship Match between Tan Zhongyi and Ju Wenjun was played in Shanghai.
Tan Zhongyi suffered an overwhelming defeat. In a solid Bishop's Opening the World Champion was not successful in treating a typical position: she weakened her king, then lost a pawn, and finally found herself under a severe attack. Black was precise and won the game.
The score is 3.5-1.5 in favor of Ju Wenjun.
The second half of the match will be played in Chongqing. The sixth game will take place on May 12. Ju Wenjun will have the white pieces.
